TAHOE FINE ARTS
Reflections in Color, Form, and Imagination
Inspired by Lake Tahoe’s clear, deep turquoise waters, Vera Ballman’s artwork merges representational detail with abstract expression. Using acrylic embellishment, mixed media, collage, and fluid art, she captures the shifting beauty of water and invites viewers into a space of introspection and discovery.
An Artistic Journey Shaped by Water and Wonder
Vera Ballman’s passion for creativity began during her formative years in Paris, France. Over time, her process evolved into a distinctive blend of representational and abstract, combining traditional methods with the intuitive nature of fluid art. Lake Tahoe’s clarity, color, and constant change serve as both muse and metaphor, inspiring her Reflections series and other works that explore depth, movement, color, and light.

“The fluid art method feels like looking into the waters of Lake Tahoe. Colors ebb and flow, shapes emerge, and the unexpected invites me to explore new possibilities.”
